Years ago, someone I know used the Bible and the writings of Ellen White and the SDA pioneers to teach me that there were only two Beings to the Godhead (that the Holy Spirit is not a person like the Father and the Son) and that Jesus had a beginning (that He wasn’t created by the Father but somehow, in countless ages past, He literally came from the Father like Eve came from Adam’s rib).
For years, I was able to harmonize my beliefs with the dreams. Then Ernie started describing in his dreams in detail that the Holy Spirit is as much an individual Person as the Father and Jesus. So I prayed. I knew it was truth, but could not understand where I went wrong. I had many Bible verses and Spirit of Prophecy quotes that to me proved the opposite.
About two years ago, God finally made it clear for me when I reread a favorite part from Manuscript Releases, volume 14, pages 21-23 that I had used to prove the Holy Spirit is not a being like the Father and the Son. I read it over and over again and again. Then it made perfect sense! It says that the Holy Spirit is Christ himself divested of humanity AND INDEPENDENT thereof. You can’t be independent if you are only a force, power, or extension of someone else. The Holy Spirit truly is the 3rd Person of the Godhead, literally.
However, I still had no intentions of changing my views regarding Jesus having a beginning, until this most recent dream was posted (dream #74). It forced me to challenge my flawed understanding of the Son of God. It stated things in such a pointed, exact, and clear way that I had no room to wrestle with God over it. There are 3 eternal Powers to the Godhead. Jesus is just as eternal as the Holy Spirit and the Father. Jesus did not have a beginning. They have always been. All three of them together. Always.
By faith I accept the messages in the dreams and what they teach. I have given up my former manmade beliefs. I choose to continue walking forward, following after Christ the perfect Pattern, even if it means sacrificing more of my beliefs, pride, possessions, or human support.
