La Sierra University will hosts its annual Lavender Graduation ceremony on June 5 at 6 p.m. at Sierra Vista Chapel on its church campus in Riverside.\u00a0 They will be honoring LGBTQ+ graduates from the university and surrounding colleges.\u00a0 Worst of all, they are blessing the LGBTQ students who are graduating.<\/p>\n
They were saying unequivocally to our LGBTQ+ students, and to all our students, that there is a home for them at La Sierra… a home where they can thrive, flourish, grow, and live their full potential to become everything that God created them to be.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, God will never sanction homosexuality.<\/p>\n
