God says:
1 Timothy 2:11-13; 3:2
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach.
Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 3, p. 295
God distinguished Aaron by choosing him and his male posterity for the priesthood.
Conclusion:
God created men and women to be equal; however, He ordained different roles for males and females. The role of a woman pastor requires her to have authority over church elders, deacons, and other male church members, including her own husband, all contrary to the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. In spite of clear evidence from God, women continue to be ordained in Seventh-day Adventist churches worldwide.
