I noticed some time ago that your experience with the ministry somewhat parallels the experience of the early church. When the ministry was named 4 His People, I recall thinking that the ministry was not unlike the earthly ministry of Jesus. I remember when Ernie was first called, that he lamented what he perceived to be his lack of knowledge about the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, but was assured that he was being taught. Jesus likewise took even the rough and unlearned men and taught them to become His disciples. I saw in the early dreams scenes of various times in Jesus' life, from his birth through to His crucifixion. I realized that what the disciples saw first-hand or through first-hand accounts, I and others who read the dreams were able to witness through the "eyes" of Ernie's dreams.
In Christ's day, the religious leaders of the time rose up in opposition. Sadly, the same story was repeated with 4 His People Ministry. You even had your own Judas in the form of Linda Kirk who betrayed not only the ministry but the information that she was to hold in confidence. At this point I realized that a Gethsemane and crucifixion moment might be coming which would scatter the sheep. Yet even anticipating this, what happened next really took me off guard. The news of Ernie's fall was a great test of my faith. Once again, just like in Christ's day when it appeared that the Christian movement must surely die, it appeared as though your ministry was on its death bed. It seemed the messenger was soon to renounce the messages. Yet, I was reminded of how God had confirmed the veracity of the messages to me in the past and I could not deny the experience that God had given us. That the "In The Heart of Jesus" dream recounting the scene of Gethsemane was given during the time of Ernie's fall and repentance could not have been more appropriate.
The Christian church did not die and neither did your ministry and just as the Christian church came out of Judaism so has For My People Ministry come out from 4 His People Ministry. Now again with For My People Ministry, it appears that similarities are to be found with the apostolic church as described in Acts. I remember links on your website for different languages. For the longest time most of these links appeared empty. Then, in a period of one to two months, a flood of translations appeared quite rapidly. I couldn't help but think of Acts 2. I saw the experience of Philips's miraculous mode of travel paralleled in the "Smooth Sayings or Surrender" dream. I thought of Ananias and Sapphira when I read about the money that Martha stole (in the "Justice and Mercy" dream). I thought about the early believers meeting from "house to house" when I read about how believers today may find it necessary to meet in small groups because they cannot find a reverent church to worship. And yes sadly, I am reminded how the religious leaders stopped their ears at Stephen, thereby closing their probation just as our religious leaders today are precariously close to repeating that terrible tragedy as described in the "Hourglass" and "Entertainment vs. Truth" dreams.
As this pattern of events unfolded before my eyes, my faith grew stronger and stronger. And now with this last dream, it was revealed that those who are sent out will do a work similar to that of the early apostles. It has also become clear to us that now is the time to lay all at the "feet of the apostles" just as it was in Acts 4:35. As I look forward, I still have hope that you will yet have your own "Paul" who was plucked like a brand from the fire to serve the truth.
I lay this out both as an encouragement and as an illustration of how God can confirm His messages in the minds of those who diligently seek Him. We know you need funding to start again the work of traveling and of spreading the messages entrusted to you. My wife and I have agreed to send you the lion share of our savings for that purpose--an easy decision? No! But I realize that the value of money is fleeting. Even secular minds can see that the banking problems of three years ago are resurfacing both here in the United States and in Europe. It seems inevitable that private money will be taken in an attempt to salvage the system either through inflation or confiscation. I know that this is the only way I can preserve our wealth for the kingdom of God.
The only other thing we can give is ourselves. We are willing to help For My People Ministry in whatever way God sees fit. We are uncertain as to what form that will take. To say that we feel somewhat inadequate would be a gross understatement. But we send this email in faith knowing that God knows what we are best suited for. If we are simply to provide funds so others can work, we are happy to continue doing that. If God bids us to do something else we are willing as well. We leave it in God's hands.
