Just wanted to thank you both for taking time out of your schedules to answer some of my questions. I appreciate your willingness to do so. I suppose we truly all have questions as to what is happening with this world that we live in. With the For My People Ministry, I feel God is answering many of those questions and more and will continue to do so.
We look at the world and the work before us and stand in awe at what part we could possibly play in all this. The obstacles are enormous and the harvest is great. Truly the laborers are few. I suppose the biggest of questions falls back upon our own selves. Will I take up the cross, deny self daily, and follow Him? Will I be a laborer together with Christ and go where He tells me to go, do what He tells me to do? It reminds me of the "Fields of Color" dream. We must also put on the Christian character, take up our cross, if we will walk through the Lord's fields of labor with Him.
"Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby." Hebrews 12:2, 11. I pray it may be so for us all.
For those of us who are familiar with the Great Controversy and its themes we are able more clearly to see the lines that are being drawn in the battle, as we draw closer and closer towards the fulfillment of all things. Indeed even now it is obvious to many who know not the things of God that surely something the likes of which we have never seen is soon to break upon us. Until that time I pray for the many souls whom it is our duty to reach and teach and preach to that we may do so in the way God would have us to and in a way that we may bear much fruit to the glory of God. May the For My People Ministry do the same by the grace of God, with the love of Christ, and under the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
