We have needed encouragement to care enough to discern what is going on in God’s church, to love our Saviour enough to decide for Him, and to be strong enough to take a stand for what is right, in His truth (which contains no shadows of error, no mixture with the world's wine) and in His Spirit (deep love and unwavering firmness). I would also like to add that, in my opinion, the introductory illustrations to these accounts are well designed. They add a very effective visual preface to the message they accompany. A picture can be worth a thousand words! May many weary souls and discouraged spirits be buoyed up and re-lit as they stand in wonderful awe before a glimpse of God’s Throne!
