The Lego Bricks Character

We are reminded how our characters are the only thing we will take to heaven. Ernie had a special sermon about character building and how it relates to Legos. It is through great self-discipline of learning and patience that we build our characters, just like building a Lego project. It is through education and guidance where we proceed upon building. God longs to educate and guide us and to know that He is our heavenly Father and to realize that God has a special plan for each life.

Once the New Theology was accepted in the 1950’s, it did not take long for the central doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to be challenged. That doctrine is the investigative judgment. At the beginning of the 20th century, men like A. F. Ballenger and D. M. Canright tried to destroy this central doctrine, but they failed. In the 1980’s, Desmond Ford tried, but he also did not succeed. In this episode, we reveal how Satan has changed tactics and is trying to undermine the investigative judgment through a more subtle attack.

Having undermined the creation account in the book of Genesis, as seen in the previous episode, higher critics are now determined to destroy the marriage institution. This began subtly when the Seventh-day Adventist Church denied the Bible’s counsel regarding gender roles and ordained women as elders back in the 1970’s. Now there is a large movement within the church to disregard the Bible’s authority and ordain women as pastors. The downward step in apostasy will not end there. Based on similar arguments, higher critics are now advocating the acceptance of homosexuality, a sin that God considers an abomination.

Through panentheism, spiritual formation, discipleship and the acceptance of Eastern mystical practices, spiritualism has infiltrated the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Many have claimed over those years that Ernie Knoll’s dreams are a deception and are leading people away from God. But is this true? In this video presentation, we share how the hearts of many are being changed by the work God has ordained For My People Ministry to do. What is the fruit of this ministry? God’s truths are being advocated, and many individuals are renouncing sin and preparing for heaven. In the dream “Entertainment vs. Truth,” this is exactly what Jesus said was happening: “Jesus calls me by my heavenly name again and tells me that the messages I am providing are touching more hearts than I realize. There are many who are searching and many who are finding truth for the first time. The messages are reaching many outside God’s church and are also reminders to those who have studied but forgotten.”

1 – Tithe & Ed Reid This is episode 1 of the series based on volume 1 of The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth: A Response to the Critics. This episode takes a look at the tithing system, as presented in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, and briefly mentions Elder Ed Reid, the former North American Division Stewardship Director, who made false statements about Ernie Knoll in his March 2008 newsletter.

2 – Ed Reid In this episode, Isabel and Ernie discuss an article Elder Ed Reid published in his March 2008 newsletter titled, “False Prophet of Tithing.” They reveal that in order to discredit Ernie as the false prophet of tithing, Elder Reid has misquoted the Spirit of Prophecy and contradicted himself. This episode is based on chapter 1 of the Truth Book.

3 – Angel M. Rodríguez This episode is based on chapter 2 of the Truth book. It looks at an email that was sent to Seventh-day Adventist pastors by Elder Ángel M. Rodríguez while he was the director of the Biblical Research Institute at the General Conference. As Isabel and Ernie discuss the email, they found it alarming that someone who was in Elder Rodríguez’s position, was not able to provide any evidence that Ernie’s dreams were not of God, and yet still rejected the dreams and taught others to do so.

4 – Steve Wohlberg In this episode, Ernie and Isabel take a look at Steve Wohlberg’s two letters found in chapter 3 of The Truth book. The topic of tithe is discussed again, as well as the tests Steve Wohlberg devised to support his rejection of Ernie’s dreams. Sadly, his tests are not Biblical, yet Pastor Wohlberg trusted them, rather than relying upon the tests provided in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.

5 – Eugene Prewitt In this episode, Ernie and Isabel take a look at Eugene Prewitt’s comments that appear in chapter 4 of The Truth book. Mr. Prewitt lists many reasons why he does not believe that Ernie’s dreams are from God, and he rejects them in spite of not finding any errors in them. In his own words: “Yes, I will have to answer before the Great Judge. So also, reader, will you. You can not be too careful how you hear, how you accept. If there are no ‘glaring inconsistencies’ nor ‘untruthful utterances’ in Ernie’s work, that will not be cause enough to advocate his dreams.” Does he think it is dangerous to accept a modern-day prophet?

6 – David Gates & Laura Lee Jones In this episode, Ernie and Isabel look at David Gate’s rejection of the dreams and Laura Lee Jones, the person who influenced him to make his decision. Both of these critics are covered in chapters 5 & 8 of volume 1 of The Truth book. It was a surprise to see David Gates reject the dreams soon after releasing a video in which he stated he could find no error in the dreams and recommended that people read them. The reason he gave for rejecting the dreams was a letter sent to him by Laura Lee Jones, a lady who made unsubstantiated comments about Ernie. Interestingly, she also advocates keeping lunar sabbaths, instead of the seventh-day Sabbath.

7 – Vance Ferrell In this episode, Ernie and Isabel look at chapter 6 of The Truth book, which deals with a newsletter that Vance Ferrell published in July 2008. In it, Elder Ferrell makes serious allegations against Ernie and his dreams. What is alarming is that Elder Ferrell obtained his information from another critic, exaggerated it, and then published those ‘facts’ without ever contacting Ernie to verify any of them. Of all the critics who have risen up against Ernie, Elder Ferrell appears to be the most reckless.

In this, the final episode of this series, Ernie and Isabel look at Linda Kirk’s comments, which can be found in chapter 7 of volume 1 of The Truth book. Due to her brief involvement with Ernie, her negative comments have done much to turn people away from the dreams. One can’t help but think of a similar situation Ellen White faced with her secretary, Fanny Bolton. Like many of the critics, Linda Kirk does not reveal any evidence to prove that the dreams contradict the Scriptures, but focuses on attacking Ernie’s character. According to Linda Kirk, if Becky, Ernie’s wife, were the one receiving the dreams, it would be easier to accept them. Is this how we determine whether a messenger is from God?

Pathfinder Camporee at Immanuel Adventist Academy in the Philippines featured some degrading physical activities. In one race, each participant dragged another along the ground as he lay on his back and hung onto his partner’s shoulders. In another, students used their legs and feet to drag by the head the student who followed. In still another, students pulled themselves along over the legs and backs of other students who lay on their stomach. These games do not demonstrate or encourage Christian decency.

The Potomac Conference president defends SDA church’s stance on LGBTQ+, stating that it is a population that exists in the conference. Therefore, we need to listen to, understand, and love them. This is the text of the president’s video: “The LGBTQ+ community is a population that exists within our conference and the world. They are our members, neighbors, friends, and family members. While we cannot promote or support their choices and lifestyles, we cannot promote individual or political agendas. We must follow teachings of Jesus to ensure that we are showing His love to everyone. Showing Christlike love does not mean we condone their behavior, and most importantly, it does not mean that we condemn the person either. We need to stop and just listen to everyone. The most basic of human needs is to understand and be understood. The best way is to listen to them with love.”
